1st Scientific Congress on Non communicable Diseases

19th-21st October, 2019

The country’s 1st  first ever congress on Non communicable diseases  was organized with the aim  to create an enabling environment for the clinicians and the public health researchers in Bangladesh to present their seminal work in NCD. For the first time in Bangladesh all the disciplines related to NCDs were came together in a single platform through this congress. The Congress was hosted by the Clinical Research Platform, Bangladesh and jointly organized by icddr,b and BSMMU. There were six components of the Congress: Press conference, Pre conference workshop, Inaugural Ceremony and abstract book launching, Scientific Sessions, Round Table Discussion and Award Giving Ceremony

A pre conference workshop was organized for manuscript writing titled with “How to get your research published” in collaboration with The British Medical Journal as part of the activities of 1st Scientific Congress on NCD.
